Sumatran Tiger (Panthera tigris sondaica) is the smallest still living tiger. They can be found in the rainforest of Sumatra, Indonesia.
The male’s length is between 2,2-2,5 meters while the female’s is 2,1-2,3 meters long.
The females give birth to 2-6 cubs after cca.: 100 days gestation. The female raises the cubs alone.
They hunt singly, and their prey mainly consists of middle-sized animals like the sambar, wild pig, or wild cow. They usually hunt for prey at night.
